Instructions:
- Pre-heat your oven to 350°F.
- Cut the crusts off your favourite Little Northern Bakehouse wide slice gluten-free bread. (Freeze crusts to make perfect gluten-free breadcrumbs later!). Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice.
- Gently press flattened slices into separate cups of a muffin tin.
- For the Balsamic Cranberry Relish & Savoury Plant-based Cheese, divide 1 container of Garlic & Herb Dairy-free Spread equally between 6 muffin cups (about 2 tablespoons per muffin cup), using a spoon or small spatula to spread the cheese evenly. Top each cup with 2 tablespoons of Balsamic Cranberry Relish.
- For the Classic Gluten-free Apple Pie, spoon ¼ cup apple pie filling into each muffin cup
- For the Ruby Red Grapefruit Marmalade, spoon ¼ cup Grapefruit Marmalade into each muffin cup. If using optional cream cheese, first spread 1 tablespoon of plain plant-based cream cheese on the bottom of each muffin cup, then top with 2 tablespoons Grapefruit Marmalade (or more as desired).
- Place filled muffin tin in the oven and bake for 5 – 7 minutes, or until bread starts to brown and crisp up.
- Remove from muffin cups, allow to cool slightly, and enjoy!

- Make 1 batch of 6 with a savoury filling and another batch with a sweet filling to offer variety and contrast to your guests.
